Veteran's Day 11-11-11
In remembrance of every soldier, sailor, airman and marine, of every nation and of every conflict, have a very happy and safe Veteran's Day.
Hi Space, thank you for your service as well, in the USAF and NASA.
A funny story about that...
Some years ago when my daughter was in 2nd grade, I had tried to explain the Cold War to her. Several weeks later happened to be Veteran's Day, and so her teacher asked the students if they knew a veteran, and if so to remember to thank them. My daughter explained that they didn't need to thank me, because I was in the Cold War and all we did was stand around.
Thank you always for your service, in the Navy, Merchant Marine and internet.

The truth hurts, sometimes. ;)
They also serve who only stand around. Or something like that.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rob. ;)
